• Breastfeeding initiation phaseImitates the short, rapid sucking rhythm by which the baby initiates the flow of milk. Once the milk starts to flow, the baby draws it in with a slower, deeper suction. To stimulate this natural rhythm, the Lansinoh breast pump offers two phases - the initial phases and the expressing phase.When you start the machine, it starts in the initial phases, level 3, and automatically switches to the expressing phase after 2 minutes of operation, meaning you don't even have to push a button; the phases change automatically. It is also possible to switch to the actual expressing phase at any time if the flow of milk appears earlier.The breast pump is equipped with an automatic shut-off switch which is activated if the breast pump is left unattended for more than 60 minutes.
• The expressing phase imitates slower, deeper sucking movements - choose between 5 adjustable suction levels for comfort.
