A cup that looks like the one parents use may encourage your little one to reach for their own drink. The Infantino My 1st Tumbler in the blue Ocean variant has a handle to hold and a straw with a soft silicone tip. Its lightweight silicone design is made for little hands.

The two-piece straw with a valve helps prevent spills while drinking. The cup can be taken apart to clean the parts. The manufacturer says it can be hand-washed in warm water with mild detergent or placed on the top rack of the dishwasher. The handle comes in handy when carrying the cup between the table and play area.
